SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN Boston & Suburbs

Trisha’s journey in the birth world began when she gave birth to her first child in 1991. She loved learning about pregnancy and birth during those special months. Her birth experience was so positive that she thought about becoming a midwife. Fast-forward to 2009, when she now had 5 children and her youngest was 3 years old. She heard the term doula for the first time and decided to become a birth doula. She considers it a privilege and honor to be part of such a miracle moment in the lives of families when she attends a birth. She finds joy in helping families transition to life at home after welcoming a new baby. Every family deserves someone to come alongside them to help during the early days when life with a newborn can become overwhelming. She loves to use her experience and education to help families grasp what a privilege and joy it is to be a parent!

When not supporting new families...
She has been married to her husband Chris for 35 years, has 5 children and 1 grandchild (so far!). She was a K-5 music teacher, taught piano lessons for years, and then became a homeschooling mom. She has been teaching her children at home for 25 years and will graduate her last child in 2024. The beach is one of her favorite places to visit, even though her children wonder why because she rarely goes in the water past her knees. Her older sisters took her to see Jaws when she was 11, and it scarred her for life! She tells her kids the sound of the waves and the tranquility the ocean brings to her soul is the reason she loves it. If she had a free day, she would probably go to NYC to see a Broadway show or bake something delicious.
