Sunshine Birth + Postpartum Doula

Sunshine Jelly Birth Postpartum Doula

Sunshine has been working with families for over 30 years providing infant care, massage therapy, birth and postpartum doula support. She grew up on the North Shore area of Massachusetts and attended College in Maine. After having her daughter in 1995, she decided to train as a doula. Sunshine has experience working with preemies, multiples, loss of pregnancy, and postpartum anxiety/depression. She also loves to teach infant massage, baby-wearing, swaddling and different soothing methods.

While living in Portland Maine, Sunshine and several other women founded a non-profit group Community Doula Birth Program, which provides birth and postpartum doula support to refugee families, single parents, and low-income families.

She brings a calm, nonjudgmental and accepting presence to the precious and unique needs of each baby and family.
