Sophie Postpartum Doula
SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN Boston & ITS SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES
Sophie has a natural and caring way with new parents and their babies, and she has been a chosen trusted support for many new families. Her strong executive functioning skills help guide and orient parents during the early, foggy stages of postpartum, helping them to find routines and rituals that bring them and their families joy. In particular, Sophie enjoys discussing different approaches to sleep conditioning, feeding, organization and self-care.
She is a trusted, knowledgeable resource for parents as they discover their own approach to parenthood.
Sophie’s nature is calm and confident. She has a wonderful combination of deep knowledge and experience in the infant and postpartum space that she combines with a genuine warmth – this seems to immediately put parents at ease, enabling them to find their own natural rhythms as a family.
When not supporting new families...
Sophie enjoys an active life in Cambridge with her husband and their three young children. Together they enjoy biking and scooting around the city, making and eating good food with friends and family, and, when possible, going to the beach. Summer is easily Sophie’s favorite and most joyful season of the year.

24/7 Live in Postpartum Care
A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and sometimes referred to as a 24-hour baby nurse or 24-hour night nurse, is a highly experienced individual who specializes in newborn and infant care. Most NCS’s have undergone specialized training, background checks and have advanced knowledge in subjects such as multiples or sleep training. A NCS can work with your family for the first few weeks or months on your baby’s life and help you have a smooth transition to a nanny when the time comes.
