Sophie Davis Postpartum Doula
Sophie is a mother, doula, writer, yogi, chef, healer and warrior. She is most deeply drawn to assisting individuals and families through periods of transition – and bringing home a new baby is the biggest transition ever! She uses many tools to serve this goal, from the “meat and potatoes” of practical and emotional postpartum support, to time-tested energy healings, to grounded nourishment and movement practices. You need to be served on every level to become the parent you want to be, and she is here to help.
She has worked with children and families for most of her life, beginning as a camp counselor and continuing on in early childhood education, literacy programs, and teaching. She was first introduced to the idea of a doula with the birth of her son and it was a game-changer. That first year as a mom really drove home the need for loving support and resources and eventually led to her own work as a postpartum doula. She now finds her greatest joy in assisting families through the transition of bringing home a new baby.
Her open-hearted doula care is targeted towards shifting from survival-mode to truly thriving in your new world as a parent.
