Shannon Outchcunis Postpartum Doula
Shannon earned her Early Childhood Education certification and worked as a preschool teacher for 18 years. Once she started her own family she wanted to be able to stay home with her boys, so she became a nanny for 7 years. In 2016 she trained to become a birth, postpartum and bereavement doula. With over 25 years of experience in the childcare field, Shannon has been a source of support for hundreds of families. Her desire to help women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum make for a smooth transition into the role of doula.
She prides herself on her ability to serve women through this process in the manner that best suits their needs. Shannon has worked with twins, infants with special needs and women with postpartum mood disorders.
With Shannon’s extensive training and experience, she strives to bring clients the best possible care as they add to their family.

When she is not working Shannon enjoys reading, family game nights, making memories with her two boys and spending time with her husband. Shannon lives in Bourne, Massachusetts with her husband Nik and their two young sons Eli (6) and Kyle (5).
