Rachel Newborn Care Specialist
SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN Boston & Suburbs
Rachel is originally from Connecticut, spent 6 years in Minnesota, and recently moved back to Connecticut. She’s worked in childcare centers, at rehabilitation centers for teen moms and their infants, and as a postpartum doula supporting parents of all ages. She truly believes that parents have a voice that needs to be heard, and the support they can receive from a NCS or PPD is unmatched. As a parent herself, she truly understands how much goes into caring for families and raising tiny humans every day.
She feels a nonjudgemental ear and a supportive shoulder to lean on is essential. She loves entering partnerships with exhausted parents who feel overwhelmed and seeing the transformation firsthand to where they feel confident, well-rested and ready to take on the world.
When not supporting new families...
Rachel lives in CT with her two little girls [her world]. She loves to sing, and play Violin and Ukulele. She enjoys traveling with her family, being outside, and making her family laugh.

24/7 Live in Postpartum Care
A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and sometimes referred to as a 24-hour baby nurse or 24-hour night nurse, is a highly experienced individual who specializes in newborn and infant care. Most NCS’s have undergone specialized training, background checks and have advanced knowledge in subjects such as multiples or sleep training. A NCS can work with your family for the first few weeks or months on your baby’s life and help you have a smooth transition to a nanny when the time comes.
