Patrica Newborn Care Specialist + Postpartum Doula

SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN Rhode Island, Boston, & Suburbs

Patricia has been caring for children and families for over 25 years. While earning her degree in Early Childhood Education, she was a Respite Worker for families of children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, a childcare worker at the New England Home for Little Wanderers working with abused children, and as a nanny.

She loved working with families so much that she even stayed with one nanny family for almost 18 years!

Because working with parents of newborns has always been her passion, she began researching a way to support more families, while having the flexibility to spend more time with her one little one.

She decided to train as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist and began doing overnight care. She immediately fell in love with the position and continued on to become a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. She has experience with a wide variety of circumstances including premature babies and multiples.

Patricia has years of experience working with families in many capacities, but babies are her passion. Providing care and comfort comes naturally to Tricia, and equipping families with new baby tools to become empowered in their parenting is something she finds very rewarding. Her goal is to make families feel confident, rested and informed.

When not supporting new families...
In her off time, Patricia homeschools her son, she fell in love with it and the community during covid. She also spends her time teaching at a local co-op, exploring nature and learning with her son.
