Melissa Newborn Care Specialist

SUPPORTING FAMILIES in NJ and Nationwide

Melissa loves to bring comfort and knowledge while empowering parents. All of the skills we review are up to date practices recommended by Both the AAP And DAP combined with tried and true “old school” wisdom. She helps care for your newborn, diapering, feeding, bathing and soothing. She loves to coach and educate parents about feeding tips and tricks, safe sleep practices and all postpartum care in general.

She has an abundance of experience and education in child development, early childhood education, child nutrition and pediatric mental health.

Melissa has served as a daycare director, resource parent for fostered newborns and provided in-home therapy and respite for families with special needs children. Working with young children is her calling and something she truly loves to do!

When not supporting new families...
In her off time, Melissa loves spending time with her husband [their high school sweethearts] and their six awesome kids! They enjoy camping and volunteering as a family.

24/7 Live in Postpartum Care

A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and sometimes referred to as a 24-hour baby nurse or 24-hour night nurse, is a highly experienced individual who specializes in newborn and infant care. Most NCS’s have undergone specialized training, background checks and have advanced knowledge in subjects such as multiples or sleep training. A NCS can work with your family for the first few weeks or months on your baby’s life and help you have a smooth transition to a nanny when the time comes.
