Hiring a Newborn Care Specialist? Support Matters. Feel Confident with Who You Choose.

We support families with in-home newborn care in two ways:

We have teams in 12 states across the country. If you live locally to one of our teams, and we have availability, we will likely support you with our team model.

If you live outside of our team’s service area, have a last minute booking or a unique booking, you will likely work with us through our referral model.

HIRE OUR NEWBORN CARE TEAM

Get in-home newborn care from our team of Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists:

Our team members are hand-selected and thoroughly pre-vetted. We maintain exceptionally high standards and have created one of the most rigorous onboarding processes in the industry.

We exclusively collaborate with team members who have impressive work experience and have completed either Postpartum Doula training or NCSA-accredited Newborn Care Specialist Training.

If we have a team in your area of the US, we will match you with a team member that can travel locally to your home! [Or we can travel anywhere for 24/7 jobs]

  • Set hourly rates
  • Contract and invoice through the agency.
  • Built-in back-up system to cover emergencies and illness.

GET A NEWBORN CARE REFERRAL

Hire a Postpartum Doula or Newborn Care Specialist with our curated postpartum care referral service:

If we don’t have pre-vetted team members in your area, we are more than happy to support your family through a referral search. You tell us what you are looking for and we help seek out the perfect provider for your family.

We have vast connections with Newborn Care Specialists and Postpartum Doulas all over the country. We vet our referrals just as thoroughly as we do our in-house team members.

We help you with the logistics of contracting and invoicing with your Newborn Care Specialist or Postpartum Doula referral directly.

  • Parent sets the hourly rate range
  • Contract and invoice directly with the NCS/PPD
  • Fair replacement policy

Private Pay

Private pay is typically the easiest and most straightforward way to pay for care. We help you work within your budget. We can send the invoice to you or whoever is paying the bill. We accept wire transfers or checks.

Carrot Fertility

Carrot Fertility

Carrot Fertility currently supports care through a certified postpartum doula. You may not be a good fit if you are in an area where we provide referrals, unless you are willing to pay the registration fee and placement fee out of pocket. Carrot also limits our availability to place last minute jobs.

Insurance Reimbursement icon

Reimbursement

Some families have the option to get reimbursed for postpartum care through their insurance and we are happy to provide the right documentation for that process. At this time, we are not billing medical insurance directly.

Whether we support you through our team or a night nurse referral, you will always enjoy top-notch customer service and support from Nightingales.

From the moment you reach out to us, through your discovery call, the process of matching you with a team member, and all the way to contracting and invoicing, we prioritize a streamlined and stress-free experience. We are here to support you every step of the way.
