Heather Howard Postpartum Doula
Heather started her journey as a nanny 15 years ago. She decided to become a doula when she realized her role as a nanny was more involved than “just” taking care of children, she was taking care of the entire family. In 2016, Heather trained with ProDoula and became a certified Birth and Postpartum. With her training and experience she can offer practical, real life advice as well as be there to just listen and be a non-judgmental support person that you might need during those first few months with your new baby, making your journey more manageable and less stressful. Whether this is your first or fifth baby, having a support system in place, even if it’s just a listening ear, is crucial to a positive experience. One of Heather’s favorite parts of this job is getting to meet new families and seeing their transformation and she cannot wait to meet yours!
Heather is open minded and willing to support any new or growing family.

"Nightingale Night Nurses was a pleasure to work with! Kristin was extremely responsive to our (somewhat last minute) inquiries about getting help with our new little one and Heather was a complete pro. The first night she was with us our son visibly relaxed as soon as she held him and she allowed us to get some much needed sleep. We were so fortunate to have found the Nightingales!"
