Heather Howard, Postpartum Doula

Heather started her journey as a nanny 15 years ago. She decided to become a doula when she realized her role as a nanny was more involved than “just” taking care of children, she  was taking care of the entire family. In 2016, Heather trained with ProDoula and became a certified Birth and Postpartum. With her training and experience she can offer practical, real life advice as well as be there to just listen and be a non-judgmental support person that you might need during those first few months with your new baby, making your journey more manageable and less stressful. Whether this is your first or fifth baby, having a support system in place, even if it’s just a listening ear, is crucial to a positive experience. One of Heather’s favorite parts of this job is getting to meet new families and seeing their transformation and she cannot wait to meet yours!

Heather  is open minded and willing to support any new or growing family.

She is the mother of 6…….Tyler (20 yrs), Alana (18 yrs), Kelly (17 yrs), Brook (15 hrs),  Amber (13 yrs) and Brady (5 yrs). It’s safe to say that she has seen a little bit of everything.

When Heather isn’t working or driving her kids around, she enjoys taking her two dogs to the park and a peaceful dinner with her husband.
